On my trip up north in 2005, I was surprised to find RVs and even some tents camped in the parking lots of big box stores. There are even books and websites dedicated to Walmart camping and review sites.

I would like to acknowledge, from my very limited understanding*, that the Chilkoot Trail is situated on the traditional territories and trading routes of the Tlingit of the Jilkoot Kwáan/Chilkoot Tribe and Jilkaat Kwáan/Chilkat Tribe, the Carcoss Tagish, the Taku River Tlingit/Áa Tlein Kwáan and the Tutchone people and thank them for allowing us to travel on this land. * (If I have this wrong or you know more information about whose land the trail is on, please contact me.)
